What is with the stereotype that “boyfriends”/hookups are better for pure sex (purely physical sex, perhaps?) over “husbands”/long-term relationship guys?
Post Body
I don’t understand this argument for the life of me. Taken at face value, it depresses the shit out of me and makes me glad I stopped dating/sex altogether, because this popular argument suggests that people like me would end up being settled for because we aren’t “exciting enough”. But, then again, the argument is just confusing because- why couldn’t a guy be a combination of the two categories? It seems easy enough. But I’ve heard the argument enough and it’s popular enough to suggest that people never thought of that angle lol. Thoughts?
