Advice needed. Serious question

So for the few years my wife has had an IUD, meaning we have not been using condoms for some time now, Recently we made the decision for her to have it removed so we can start starting our family, we have decided though not to start right away and have started using condoms again, but when I put a condom on I have trouble staying at full attention, has this happened to others before to or does anyone know any remedies?
I know It’s probably psychological but still advice is needed and welcomed.
