I want to start by saying I have a sailor's mouth, so I'm not one to judge about cursing in general. However, I use "fuck" pretty sparingly and prefer words like shit, ass, and dick (apparently the last one is considered a curse now).
One thing I've noticed though is some people saying "fuck" constantly. I watched a video recently of a girl who said fuck in pretty much every sentence, and one of my friends once dropped the F bomb three times in like a ten-word rant and I commented on whether that was really necessary.
It also seems really prominent in TikTok culture. I'm always hearing my partner listening to TikToks and hearing whichever influencer she's on (usually female) using "fuck" like it's a conjunction.
I hate to sound like a prude but I find myself getting annoyed with people who say "fuck" too much. It kind of has this air about it that I can't really put into words other than seeming like someone is just trying to make whatever they want to say as crass and mindless as possible.
Am I out of order on this at all?
