There is also another issue to consider: for example, I have changed my account many times (at least 4 different accounts in a dozen years), so if the people I had contact with also deleted and recreated their accounts, we could potentially both have a new one and neither of us would recognise the other.

With previous accounts I had interactions with interesting people (Also with someone met here in this subreddit). Not just superficial talks or spicy roleplay with more or less explicit photos, but also nice talks on more serious topics. Over the years I still think of someone, and although I remember a few usernames I have obviously lost contact.
