When I was younger, a teen, I always said I didn't like country, opera, musicals or polka.
As I've grown older, I've learned to appreciate opera, musicals, and even a small handful of country artists (Mostly just Chris Stapleton, really), and even more recently, reggaeton, which I begrudgingly tolerated, and bachata, which I still cringe when I hear, and which ruined much of a vacation to DR.
Music means everything to me.
I can't not hear it.
I've left restaurants if they played too much bad music.
What genres make your ears bleed or have you learned to appreciate and why?
