While it's created excitement in our marriage its definitely not why we are in the lifestyle. Technically my wife still has a low libido but when she does have sex its far from boring. It has a slight positive effect on her libedo but not that much. They say this lifestyle will make good marriages better and bad ones end. We have found that to be true in just about every couple we have met that are in open relationships.

What it has done is open the lines of communication between us. We can openly talk about sex and fantasys in a positive way. That has given her more confidence in discussing sex with other men. This communication has led to her doing unbelievably daring sex act. Basically her communicating with the new guys give us all new ideas of fun things to do. It's made her way more adventurous.

As for why we are into it its because I got cheated on at an impressionable age and the trauma response made me like being cheated on. It actually took my wife a few years to wrap her head around the idea. Once she tried it she liked it and we have been exploring ever since.
