I'm looking around my social circle and I see a lot of people I occasionally hangout with, but I don't have anyone I can go to lunch with or have a girls night out regularly. I'm starting to think I'm the problem. Or is this a common phase that all 30 somethings go through?
Maybe our fear of rejection and constant feed of “don’t trust anyone anymore” because of differing viewpoints is preventing us from cold calling as we would easily when younger. I just turned 30 and have a decent social life, but adding new people seems an increasingly heavier load of late.

Anyone who agrees with force feeding doesn’t ever get my positive attention. Really hope nobody disagrees with your very valid opinion. If I’ve just eaten an entire pizza, I don’t want you to force your burgers and fries down my throat. 🙂
