I'm not sure how to best articulate this, but I had this thought in the shower.
Having a hoe phase and not being too set on finding a committed relationship is sometimes advised to a lot of 20-somethings as though one person is totally in control of their sexual fate, but that's really not the case a lot of the time. It depends almost solely on them being able to even find people to consensually do it with at all, so I wonder why this comes up as advice to people in their 20s. It's operating on a really big assumption in my opinion.
