Is it normal to not feel any emotional connection

Recently lost my virginity so still trying to figure things out. Slept with two ppl. Been with current bf for 3/4 months. He says there's an emotional connection during but I just don't feel it .... Is it normal. Do I just need to give it more time? Idk
