Try your best to act on your positive impulses. When people say âworking out builds confidenceâ, itâs not the gaining muscle/trimming fat that does it. Itâs internal. Itâs knowing that you did something for yourself today. Itâs knowing that what you did was hard, but next time itâll be easier. The mindset of âI just donât feel like it right nowâ only digs the hole deeper. Thatâs relevant to house chores, dieting, personal fitness, personal hygiene, etc. Donât beat yourself up about it, but as soon as you have the motivation, do the thing. I promise youâll feel a bit better about yourself after, and then maybe you can accomplish the next thing.
