Bartender / server types of ARAD.... Do you dress for you or do you dress to get tips? Is there a difference?

IDK why its bothering me this AM, but I got in a slightly heated argument with a friend's wife who said servers at a bar were dressing in what they wanted to be dressed in to do there job. I postulated that that may be true, but some may in fact wear something more provocative to gain tips. She then called me sexist. I think its more of a realist comment.
