I (24M) grew up in a society that pushed that everyone needs to wear condoms, particularly when doing sex with strangers.
I feel that the condom thing was mostly pushed after the AIDS epidemic in the 90s.
Didn't other STDs exist before the 90s? How did people live? Obviously you can always impregnate someone. But I have friends that use condoms even when the woman is on anticoncepcional pill and not having sex with anyone else.
I feel weird that it's OK to kiss a stranger, even though you can get a disease, but not with condoms.
