For both reasons - lying down makes it easier to relax, lying down makes it easier for blood to supply genitals and other erogenous zones vs when standing up - I think lying down should make it easier to reach orgasm. Yet, there is plenty of porn involving edging and orgasm torture while standing up. If its harder to orgasm while standing up, I suspect the actress could have had a better experience had they been lying down :D.
