I need your advice on reassuring my S/O post-vasectomy

I had a vasectomy last week and it was really rough. Both my cock and my balls were bruised and swollen for an entire week and I was well and truly out of action.
Whilst I’m now still a little bruised (it looks worse than it is) I’m absolutely raring to go - my libido is sky high but my wife doesn’t want to do anything because she’s scared about hurting me.
Any advice?!
