You can start with hi or hey, but it needs to be followed up with something to provide some sort of context or insight into where the person wants the conversation to go. We have a profile with history and people reach out based on that. Most of the people reaching out don’t have that or barely anything in their profile, so it’s kinda like expecting a stranger to carry the conversation.
