Why is step/family porn so popular on porn websites?

Is the public really demanding this kind of content or is this content being pushed by producers?
I don’t want to yuk anyone’s yum. I have just seen the growth of this category and now the majority of the homepage is family porn.
Personally, I’m not a fan. I also have a traditional family as opposed to a blended family. So, I am very interested in learning more about how this category of porn appears to be the most popular.
