There has been a lot of debate about Oscar Pistorius competing in the olympic games.
For those that don't know, Pistorius has prostethic legs on which he runs.
Many people have argued that this games him an advantage, and personally, I agree.
It is much less tiring to run on prosthetics. He may be able to run at a lower speed, but he can constantly maintain this speed, unlike the other runners on long distances.
His legs will have a lower build up of acid due to constant exertion, and he can run for a longer period of time.
His prostethics also have a inherent spring effect to it that makes landing and running slightly easier.
What is the majority of reddit's opinion on him, and other people with prostethics competing in the olympic games?
Do the prosthetics pose an advantage or disadvantage?
