So I just had a customer threaten to stab me to death over 7 tootsie rolls...
Post Body

So I work the prize counter at a Brunswick Zone gameroom, and not too long ago, a very drunk man came in with his mostly sober friend and his kid. Everything was going okay until he asked me for a handful of tootsie rolls when he was redeeming his tickets. I took a handful and said, "here's seven, is that enough?" He said yes. I went to mark his new total when he said "Don't count that on my total" I told him that I had to. He asked me several times to not count it, then he said "hey buddy, calm down, calm down". I thanked him for his concern. Then things got ugly. He said "Have a knife in my pocket, if you don't uncount that, I will follow you into the parking lot and I will stab you until you die. I will fucking take you down!" I said "right", and I turned to get something while quietly calling a manager and security, not because I was scared, I was pretty sure he didn't have anything, and I didn't learn martial arts to be scared of a slightly overweight 60 year old, but I did it because its protocol. Anyway, security came, the manager had a talk with the guy, who calmed down, thanked me, and left. Afterward, security checked the parking lot to make sure he was gone. I feel bad for his kids. A plus side was that I had a Chuck-like flash of my martial arts skills. Anyways, anybody else have a fun story like this? People making death threats or something similar to something as stupid as this?

TL;DR: Drunk guy threatened to kill me over 35 tickets. Anybody have something similar happen to them?
