How did I gain weight after surgery?

Just today i had surgery on my shoulder because it kept dislocating due to a small fragment chipping off. Four anchors were installed and the muscle/tendon/whatever were reattached. Entering the surgery, I weighed 189, and now I weigh 200. Granted this is with a sling and bandages, but there is noway that that is 11 pounds. The only thing i had to eat today was a small plate of carne asada fries and some lemonade. Do the iv fluids, anchors and sutures really weigh that much?
