I was reading the thread about the man who lied to his wife about watching porn, and while most of the comments focus on the act of his lying and not on demonizing his porn watching, there's definitely a discussion brewing on whether porn is problematic or not.
So, I pose to you a few questions:
Do you feel that your guy watches less porn now that you two are together?
Do you think porn has impacted his desires? Positively?
Would you / Have you asked your guy to give it up? Has he?
Does it impact your self-image in any way?
EDIT: Seems like the vast majority of us believe that "as long as it doesn't impact our sexual relationship, it's fine with me."
So, some further questions:
Where is that line that shows impact? At what point, would you address him and let him know that it's going too far?
Do you think the positive porn stance here is reflective of our age group or do you think it's the reddit population?
A few people mentioned porn's positive role in the bedroom- do you have stories that show that porn has made your relationship stronger? And of course, if the converse is true, please share, too.
Finally, to those of you who are against, thanks for speaking up knowing full well that the backlash from everyone would be intense!
