The purpose of this megathread is to allow the AskReddit community to discuss recent events in Ukraine.
This megathread is designed to contain all of the discussion about the Ukraine conflict into one post. While this thread is up, all other posts that refer to the situation will be removed.
While I'm hesitant to post a link to the President of Ukraine's website, president.gov.ua, it's required to make my point.
This site is getting hammered not just by citizens and people in Ukraine but the whole world seeking the latest information.
Is it possible for a webpage caching company like CloudFlare to cache it on their behalf and bear the burden of traffic coming from areas not geolocated near Ukraine? Then they could just update their cache once every 10min or something and literally save lives.
Am I misunderstanding how all this works? I have a request out to Cloudflare but no response.
