Backstory: I met a girl at our A-school (I am a Marine, she is Navy) and we hit it off really good. We spent every night together walking the base and talking about everything, and I really liked her. We started dating, and then got our orders to different places. I went to California, she went to Virginia.

It sucked, because we were in like, but it happens in the military sometimes. We decided to still date, against many warnings from friends about not doing the long distant thing, and we kept this up for about a year.

I had the opportunity to go see her for a week, which of course I took. We were both really excited about it. It was a very expensive trip, around $2,000 in total, but I did enjoy it. My last day there, after saying goodbye to her and riding alone with her older brother to the airport, he drops a bomb on me.

He tells me she has been cheating on me for nine months, and then proceeded to show me the guy. Obviously I wasn't very happy at all, and I said thanks for telling me.

When I got back to my base, I was planning on asking her about it. I found out she had deleted me off of Facebook, and had already started dating this other guy.

Yeah sucks I know, but I want to hear your worst breakup stories. Weather you broke up with someone or they broke up with you. Come on, make me cry. Or laugh.
