Months ago, during the height of all the Occupy protests, it seemed like there was corruption and abuse of authority at every turn.
We kept hearing about people being unjustly pepper-sprayed and arrested, students forcibly removed from peaceful protests, and police stepping over their bounds. And many times there were video accounts of all this.
Why have I not heard about any lawsuits stemming from all this?
This seemed like the kind of thing a large, motivated group like the ACLU would be all over.
Have there been no lawsuits? Do they take a long time to move through the courts? Are they just not being reported.
tl;dr--Why aren't we hearing about Occupy lawsuits?
