Do you think everyone should have to work in a service industry at some point?
Post Body

I'm not talking about making laws that require this, but as good parents--as good human beings--do you think we should require people to work at least six months or so in the service industry?

After reading this thread I started thinking back to my extended time in the service industry. You really start to see people's true colors, and you really see how asshole moves can really hurt people.

Do you think people owe it to themselves and others to spend at least six months in a service industry. (Kind of like a humanity mission)

Edit: I mean this more in the sense of a parent having their child get a part time job in a service industry. Or working in a service industry part time in college. I don't necessarily mean this like a mandatory religious mission.
