Attention AskReddit English Pros: When saying "I answered customers questions," should it be "customer's questions" or "customers' questions." More details inside...
Post Body

My professor had us submit resumes in class to him as well as to 3 other groups made up of our classmates. Two out of the three groups rated my resume as being the best one out of the whole class. But my professor has this rule that if there are any grammatical or spelling errors in the resume, the student automatically receives a ZERO for their grade.

So, even though almost everyone in my class thought my resume was the best and deserved the best grade, my teacher gave me a zero because of my apostrophe error.

This is aside from my question, but still relevant. What does Reddit think I should do about this grade? I understand his policy but I think it's bullshit. I haven't gotten a chance to talk to him in person since I just read my grade online.

One more thing... When my teacher posted our grades online, he wrote down remarks regarding why we got the grade we got. This is what he wrote to me... "I wanted to give you a good grade on this but cannot. You have "customer's questions" when it should be customers' questions. Sorry dude."

My professor just called me "dude." I find this really offensive, mainly because this guy is a prick and I am not, in any way, shape, or form, his "dude." Any advice on that as well?

Sorry for the long post, but any help is appreciated.
