was thinking about human migration. The main reason why someone would migrate are wars, assassination attempts, being a minority in a country where the majority has a say and oppression from the government.
But even after migrating/seeking refuge they bring into the new place their old set of problems. like for example in their old country they marry girls off to older men (thru arrange marriage), and after migration the same issue arises (maybe not older men but still arranged) and then the new country has to help them. Isn't the idea of migration to start a new lease of life??
Or something like freedom to practise religion, these families move across countries but yet are still like you are born of X religion and even though we are in a 'New World' you have no freedom of choice even at a mature age.
