Non-Americans: What do you think of driving in the USA?

I asked this a couple of weeks ago, but at a time when much of the non-US was likely asleep.
Obviously the answer is going to depend on where you're from. Are our roads good? Is it easy to find your way around? Do we drive like a bunch of assholes?
