so the situation is that my dad has cancer and is doing a road trip out to california and some other western states with our neighbor who is his good friend. i want to go with to see the redwoods again, and spend time with him, however he mentioned he could drop me off in colorado so i can look for work while he is out west. basically i could go on what would be the last trip with my dad, or have a chance at starting my life long dream. any advice
