How do you get better at presentations and speaking infront of an audience?

I just bombed my presentation midterm... No matter how much confidence I put myself in before giving a presentation to TA's or Professors or even fellow students, I always ALWAYS mess up and end up screwing my presentation over... How can I deal with this???
The thing is, no matter how much I prepare, I always stutter or I just read everything I have memorized really fast and unprofessionally...
