Authors of Reddit, how do you overcome writer's block?
Post Body

I've been working toward becoming a career author since high school, and spent many of my teen years writing incessantly. And then one day, it stopped.

I don't know what happened to me. After writing for years and having it come so naturally, it just went away. I've read all of the literature I can on writer's block, tried to force it, tried to give it a rest (by "rest" I mean almost 2 years), everything I could think of. But every time I try to write, the words die on the page. I can't add more than a paragraph or two at a time to any of the stories that used to flow so naturally, and every new story or play I've tried has fallen flat after a few pages.

I'm at my wit's end here, Reddit, and I need some advice, some suggestions, something. Help me, Reddit, you're my only hope.
