Reddit, in a few weeks I'm going to move to another country all by myself. Do you have any pro-tips on how to avoid feeling lonely / get depressed in a completely new environment?

So I'm moving to UK in order to get my first job as a nurse but it's the first time I'll be all by myself in a new country with a different language, culture, etc. Experienced redditors how did you cope with this?
