Hello there,
Every day we gain 7,000 new readers to this subreddit! AskReddit is becoming a very busy place and we feel it would be a good time to add some new helpers to our subreddit.
If you are interested please post an application here, making sure to answer all the following questions. Please feel free to include any additional information which would help us when choosing who to pick.
The questions are;
How much time do you spend on askreddit?
Do you moderate any other subreddits? If yes, what are they?
What is wrong with AskReddit? Would you do anything to would improve it?
What would you consider a bannable offence?
Why do you think rule 6 in the sidebar is important? Do you think there should be exceptions for special circumstances?
What's your level of CSS skill? (If possible, Please reference any examples of your CSS work here).
A post has gone up and your gut says that it doesn't fit in the subreddit but you can't work out which rule it breaks. What do you do?
What attribute do you think is most important to being a good mod?
What times during the day do you browse reddit? (You do not have to answer this question, if you choose to please answer in GMT format for ease of comparison).
Why do you want to be a moderator of askreddit? (Bonus points if this is answered through the medium of MS paint)
Please do not vote on any comments within this post. Users will not be picked based on popularity, and we will read every single application, regardless of time posted or the number of upvotes it has.
We will close this post in 48 hours time, any applications made after that time will not be counted.
Edit: I may have taken this one for granted, but if you are not interested in making an application then please don't reply with 'no'. It's been done to death, find some new material :)
