Please please i need answers.
Since the beginning of December i was put on Trileptal for my mood disorder. I was prescribed 600mg a day but ive only taken 300mg a day because i just don’t think or remember to take medication in the morning. Well since I’ve started taking it i sleep over 16 hours each day. I cannot wake up. I’m insanely tired. I told my psychiatrist that I’ve taken this medication before but stopped because i assume it was making me too sleepy but that i was willing to try again. I have never experienced seizures, i don’t have epilepsy. I am however a hypochondriac and just am scared of everything but can’t help but read the effects of things. Last night i skipped my dose because i have decided to stop taking the medication cold turkey. I’m wondering if i could end up having a seizure if i do this? I’m absolutely terrified of that. However last time i stopped cold turkey i didn’t have one. Stopping medication cold turkey is not new to me i often do it with most medications that aren’t fitting for me (excluding Effexor)
Basically all i want to know is i don’t have seizures since i never have and was never on this medication for seizures but instead for BPD.
