I know that Clonidine hits 2A,2B, and 2C receptors unlike Guanfacine which targets 2A (which leads to less sedation and less anti hypertensive effects), but i came across a paper suggesting that Clonidine may actually impair planning and working memory compared to Guanfacine which seems to improve it.

What do you guys think? I recently switched from Guan to Clon since I have comirbid PTSD in addition to ADHD, and apparently Clonidine ha a more evidence for that.
I must say, I feel “chiller” on Clonidine as compared to Guanfacine, but I don’t feel as sharp and I’m losing words/train if thought more than I did on Guanfacine.
