So I’ve been going to the same psychiatrist for years and they’re great but lately I’ve seen a few red flags that I can’t really avoid anymore.
So the first one was maybe a year ago, we were talking about the rise of misinformation on the internet and they mentioned being anti-vax and started ranting about how the government was manipulating us and so on. I didn’t think much of it, sure I disagree but whatever it didn’t affect my therapy. But lately, they’ve talked a lot about energies and gave a few hints that they didn’t believe in science. Up to the point that maybe half of my questions where faced with a reply on that topic. Now I don’t want to judge people’s beliefs, I 100% respect that but when I go to therapy, I expect rational and scientific answers. It’s gotten to the point that I’m considering switching therapist but there aren’t that many around in my city. What should I do?
