Hey everyone, back in late August, I unfortunately had an SI episode and told people who contacted law enforcement, leading to being "pink slipped" or "baker acted" depending on where you're from. I was very compliant, didn't resist. As soon at I got to the psych unit, I signed a voluntary form, which switched my status from involuntary to voluntary.
I guess I'm confused. So, was my psych stay involuntary since the initial act of getting me there was by pink slip? Or was it voluntary because I signed that form? Or can it be both? I'm just curious because some laws/lines of work ask "have you been involuntarily committed to a mental hospital?"
Thanks for the help :)
