I discontinued my anti-psychotic medication months ago, like in the Spring or something. I did not do it abruptly - I tapered off.
I know AI is questionable, but I have been on multiple different platforms including consensus and open evidence and a lot of my current "symptoms" can be attributed to Dopamine Supersensitivity. However, everything I am reading says this can potentially last years, if not indefinitely.
Did I permanently mess up by brain by taking antipsychotics for too long? Is there any (non-antipsychotic) treatment for Dopamine Supersensitivity?
