Going on a bit of a rant here but I cannot stand APNs! In my opinion, the only people that should be allowed to prescribe anti psychotics or anti depressants are psychiatrists. The APN that I was seeing refused to schedule an appointment with me because she needed bloodwork from me even though I was out of medication. I got the bloodwork and she still refused to see me because she didn’t look through the paperwork from the lab. It wasn’t until her supervisor told her to look through it and to schedule the appointment that she did. What accountability or qualifications do they have?
