"Depression with reduced yield on an obsessional and premorbid perfectionist background". What does premorbid mean in this case, is it reason to worry?
Post Body
That's what I was told after my psychiatric visit recently. When I looked up "premorbid" on Wiktionary, it said "(medicine, psychiatry) Approaching a morbid condition, especially of mental functioning shortly prior to the onset of schizophrenia, etc." Why specifically schizophrenia? Am I in danger of developing serious mental diseases? I'm worried.
