Does akathisia go away eventually or do you have to stop the medication (clozapine)?
Post Body

I've been on clozapine for near 2 years now. 2 and a half months ago I was prescribed 10mg propranolol, I took it and within an hour I became very restless and agitated which was not the case before taking the propranolol. The restlessness and agitation has not left me, I think it may have triggered or unmasked akathisia. (Akathisia is the only explanation I can come up with)

If I do now have akathisia do I have to stop clozapine or will it go away eventually? (I've read that acute akathisia can last up to 6 months)
