Persistent executive dysfunction years after psychotic episode - do I need to change meds?
Post Body

I am 26M with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. In 2020 I entered a drug-induced psychosis. I’ve thankfully been in remission from the psychosis since my time in the hospital. I have 2.5 years of continuous sobriety currently.

I currently take daily 150mg Zoloft, 5mg Abilify, & 110mg Methylphenidate (100mg Jornay ER at night and 10mg Ritalin in morning). I still struggle frequently with executive dysfunction; some common struggles for me include getting ready to go to work, getting laundry done, and taking time to run errands.

Recent tweaks to my meds have been upping my stimulant dosage, but given the continuous struggle, I am wondering if it might be time to make a change to my antidepressant medication. I tried Lexapro before but Zoloft has worked better.

I am meeting with my psychiatrist in about 10 days. Given the information provided, what might you suggest I discuss with him? I am open to answering any questions to provide more information.
