Subreddit for .Net question
Post Body

Hi there,

Been asked to help out with an open source dev in Windows (7/8/10). I know nothing about windows programming (but do know programming).

The program is for single sign on (using windows credential provider) via a USB NFC (PC/SC) hardware. I'm hoping to ask:

1) Is there an 'easy' way to test across multiple versions of windows, virtually. I realize that I could spin up multiple VMs and install different OS' - but that would take massive amount of time. I'm wondering if people already have this - and it's a, "yeah grab this image with X OS's ..." or this online services provides this (like a: terminal.com)

2) What's the "best" (subjective) subreddit for .Net? The code is being written using .Net - and was wondering where I ought to hang out.

I really appreciate any pointers, as I'd love to see this project succeed (even though I don't own a single windows machine.)

Cheers!
