I’m curious about how companies that have successfully expanded into multiple regions manage to maintain a single code base. Specifically, how do they structure their development teams to handle the challenges that come with such a setup?

For those who have experience or knowledge in this area:
- How do you manage time zone differences and ensure continuous integration?
- What strategies do you use to keep communication effective across geographically dispersed teams?
- Are there specific tools or practices that have proven indispensable in your experience?
- How do you handle regional-specific requirements or customizations without fragmenting the code base?
Looking forward to hearing your insights and stories about what works (or doesn’t work) in these scenarios. Thanks!

Edit:
Thanks for the replies, I wanted to know more about team structures than code. I how to be multi regional in terms of code is well documented in the industry but how to make your team seamlessly work on a multi regional code base is not. I am talking in terms of do you think a FE only team is a good option or a vertical team is better. I was curious what are the views of everyone about this.
