Should I learn to code?

Post Body

I'm looking to support myself independently. I'm a high school graduate with no prior experience with coding, although I think I could develop coding skills (eventually).

I was previously considering freelance writing, but I could never get any offers, it seems niche, and didn't pay too well.

I think I'd prefer something that's more of a cold and hard science rather than something that's subjective and artistic.

Is there something that could be a better option for me than coding? Is it worth learning coding anymore since AI exists?
