This is probably going to be a dumb post, but as professors, how can you tell if a student's paper was written by an AI? I am an undergrad majoring in rhetoric and composition and I am just curious if there's a particular phrase or style that you think constitutes if an AI did it? I'm sure plagiarism checkers can tell if the AI pulls content from other websites, but can you tell? I 100% guarantee you I have not used AI to write my papers or have plagiarized in any of my classes. I am not planning on using your responses to do this. Maybe someone can navigate me to an article or somewhere else because I would hate to encourage this for other people to use.
