Is it too early to ask for an update or follow up?

I have been in talks with a professor for an undergrad research position. She asked me these questions via email, like for how long can I work and will I be working remotely. The last mail from her was on Friday regarding will I be working full time or part time. I replied but I haven't heard from her since. Also she has just asked me these questions but didn't actually let me know about whether she is considering me for the project or not. Will it be appropriate if I follow up or should I wait longer?
