Newtonian gravity and curved space
Post Body
I was reading a Wikipedia page called ‘Newtonian motivations for general relativity’ and what I got from it was that Newtonian mechanics implies that gravity is curved space(not curved spacetime). How is this possible, what’s the logic behind the idea, and what is the history of this idea?
