Hi, I'm about to start to take pictures of the products of our company and I'm kind of new to photography, as in really new, like I don't know anything about aperture settings, ISO, F or anything like that, all I know is to use the auto mode. Basically I'm going to shoot in a dimly lit room with two softboxes that light up an area that contains a white backdrop (I bought some cheap studio stands and hung up a big taurpalin as white backdrop as the cloth I used got dirty too easily). I was wondering what settings on the camera should I be using to get nice pictures of my products? products range from small (wrenches) to medium size machines (bandsaws, miter saw, automated pipe threaders). Should I be adjusting anything in the aperture range? My camera is just a simple Canon 1500D. Thanks in advance for the answers..
