EDIT3: This is the card reader I used. And this is the SD card I used. I bought both over 6-8 months ago and haven't used them a lot (I've used the card reader a bit more for some Raspberry Pi shenanigans without having issues).
Also, yesterday was a really cold day, but I doubt we were below 0ΒΊ when I went out to take the photos.
EDIT2: I searched while commuting and found this thread, so it seems is either the card reader or the SD card. I'm still angry at this situation, but a bit less. I'll search for the card reader and the card I'm using al re-re-re-edit this.
EDIT: Well, fuck. Darktable is giving me the same previews. The message I'm getting is "Failed to read camera white balance." Can be a faulty SD card?
Hey all!
I've been going through some shots I took yesterday with rawtherapee when the program did this:
Its on several previews, if I try to export them the artifacts are still there, but if I open the raw file from xnview, there's nothing. I'm using the latest rawtherapee version, deleted the pp3 files and reopened them to no avail, and yesterday I processed some older photos with no issue.
Logic tells me that either rawtherapee is broken, or the raw file is fucked up (as what open Xnview is the jpg preview embedded on it), but I would like to hear something from more knowledgable people.
Any suggestions? Is my camera busted?
