Greetings!
I've been going to some concerts where DSLR cameras were allowed with the intent of practicing and "see where it goes." I got a Flickr account and a "sister" professional page on Facebook (Which I made so I could contact the bands). I use to upload the photos to both flickr and facebook, use hashtags, tag the band and the venue and all of this, with usually mixed results.
I'm wondering if it would be "appropiate" to send a follow-up email to the band after uploading the photos and getting some small interaction with the band's account (Something in the lines of "Hey, I talked with your singer after the gig and jsut to remember that if you would like to use some of the full res shots we could get in touch") or, given I've already "contacted" them through tagging the band on Facebook, could be seen as redundant.
The shot's aren't really professional (And I wouldn't blame them if they didn't wanted to use it for anything), but still, they are a small band and I think they could use some "action" shots here and there.
(Btw, yeah, I know I also need an Instagram account, but I'm slowly working on this)
